As usual, we will produce an exclusive Norvic FDC for this stamp issue,
limited to 50 copies. The design is dependent on approval from the ECB
& the MCC.
We will also have some double-dated covers. These are cancelled with the
Mount Pleasant Congratulations On This Day postmark of 12
September, the day the England team actually won the Ashes, and postage
is paid by cricket and definitive stamps.
Only 5 of these exist. One with the Australian Bicentenary W G Grace
stamp is retained in our own collection; we have just one with the 17½p
Centenary Test stamp and 3 with the 9p County Cricket stamp
of 1973. The price to existing customers is £11.75 and some have
already been reserved.
Although the images here show, 'design to be added' this may only be a
caption, to keep it tidy and to avoid complications with the cricket
authorities who will be considering our main cover.
Please
e-mail us now!
We are also preparing some scorecards as shown below from various days of the last test. These will be cancelled with the SE11 first day of issue postmark, and are priced to existing customers is £11.75 - again, please reserve these now, using the link above.
